The High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) sends back photos of Mars all the time that will knock your socks off. (Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter was launched in 2005.) The newest images are of one of Mars' moons, Phobos, which I was alerted to by Michael West of the Mars Institute who was one of the able and gracious hosts at the NASA/Ames Phobos Deimos conference where the IAAA had an art exhibit. (Thanks for the alert Michael!!) The images continue to be so good that you feel as if you could reach out and touch Mars or its moons.
Take a look at this closeup of Phobos in 3D with your "red and blue" glasses. There are lots of 3D images on the web so it is worth $1.50 to own a pair. Now, isn't science grand?
