Bonnie was determined to win the contest and in less than a couple of hours she did! When I visited Ironstone Vineyards on Tuesday I picked up a tall jar of roasted red peppers. I hope they are as tasty as they are beautiful. I delivered them to her personally on the way home as she lives just off of Highway 49 on the way to and from Ironstone. I also visited with Stella who is pictured on Bonnie's site above.

That sure was a beautiful drive and California is so green right now. At Ironstone we tasted wine and had lunch. (Thanks Uncle Phil and Marilyn.) I had the best turkey sandwich I've ever had in my life. I tasted the wine and chose a bottle of reisling to take home and purchased the peppers. I picked up my art and my People's Choice Award Ribbon. It was pretty nice.

We made a slight detour to Stevenot Vineyards and I bought a bottle of Muscat Canelli, an orange desert wine, and garlic stuffed olives for hubby.

A little of that desert wine (photo indert) over some vanilla ice cream sounds good.

Thanks again Ju. The peppers are beautiful, but mostly I loved seeing you, Aunt Alice, Uncle Phil and Marilyn. Stella enjoyed the visit as well. She played hard-to-get at first, but then she couldn't get enough of you.
